Do I need an inspection?

YES! We never recommend going without an inspection. MOST home inspections uncover a defect in their potential home. Going without an inspection can be a costly nightmare and or potential health risk. While it is not fun to uncover problems with your potential home, inspection reports can be leverage in the home buying process.

What are pre-sale inspections?

Inspections are not just for home buyers, but sellers as well. As a seller you don’t want to be blindsided when your potential buyer backs out or ask for money off for things found during the home inspection they had done. This information ahead of time will give you the chance to fix things! Having a Pre-sale inspections in hand can give sellers leverage, and make the selling process go smoother and quicker!

What does an inspection include?

Home inspections cover the main components of a home. This includes the roof, hvac, plumbing, electrical, and foundation. We follow the InterNACHI standards of practice for our inspections!

Can a house “fail” a home inspection?

It is important to remember that home inspections are OBJECTIVE. They are objective assessments. It is not within the scope of the home inspector to pass nor fail a home, only describe the physical condition and indicate what may need repaired or replaced/ on a houses condition. A professional home inspection is an examination and objective assessment of the current condition of a house. A home inspector will not pass or fail a house but rather describe its physical condition and indicate what components and systems may need repaired.

Can I be there for the inspection?

Yes! I encourage you to be there at the time of inspection. Together we can walk you through what is being inspected and why. I will teach you as much as you want to know and provide valuable knowledge to take with you in the future.
